About

Joanna Lindblad…

is a listener, observer. As the daughter of a minister and teacher, she witnessed the perils of the human condition from a young age. Through her studies of social change and psychology, she learned how these experiences affect us. Offering her own grief to enhance understanding, she writes about the emotional connection between loss and being.

With her first self-published poetry book [a sliver so slight], Joanna is a new author focusing on grief, hope, and processing trauma. Her poems are heart-wrenchingly vivid. Invoking feeling within the rhythm and rhyme of healing.

Joanna currently lives near Madison, Wisconsin. She enjoys the wonder of nature, the immersion of art, and finding extraordinary moments in living an ordinary life.
