Chrissy Carlson (Art/Illustrator) and I worked closely together to create a meaningful connection from the artwork in the book to the cover. Transforming my original photography into haunting digital artwork that began with a line in a poem, to art in the book, relating to an object on the cover. Showing a calm appearance on the outside, while hiding the chaos within. Enticing an emotional immersive experience.
