[fugue] was inspired by a fugue state in psychology, and a fugue piece of music. The poem resembles a conversation between the conscious and unconscious mind, trying to solve a puzzle created by trauma. The poem score was composed using letters from words in the poem, associating them with notes in the musical alphabet, to create the work.
